The premier organisation for financial planners in UK and the sole awarding authority in the UK for the CFP licence. Our head of Financial Planning Gareth Tregidon has been Branch Chairman for South Wales since 2005 and won the Branch Chairman of the Year 2009 (awarded in October 2010)

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM professional is a Financial Planner who has completed a high level qualification and abides by a strict code of ethics.  The CFPCMrepresents the highest professional certification globally that can be awarded to a Financial Planner.  Less than 1,000 individuals have been awarded the certification in the UK, joining over 126,000 worldwide. It is most important that your Financial Planner is someone that you can trust, and has the required knowledge and skill to help you achieve your goals in life.  CFPCM professionals are monitored annually by the Institute of Financial Planning in the UK to ensure they are keeping up to date and maintaining their knowledge and skills.  Their continuing professional development activities are monitored and assessed, including their adherence to a strict Code of Ethics.

The Later Life Adviser Accreditation (LLAA) has been developed by the standard-setting body the Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) in collaboration with the specialist financial services consultancy SVARfair.  The LLAA is a recognised benchmark of the advice skills of advisers who practice in the older client market.  It is managed by the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA), a not for profit organisation founded to meet the needs of consumers, advisers and those who provide financial products and services to the Later Life market. The accreditation scheme has been shaped following consultation with consumer groups and those actively involved in advising in the older client market.  It is awarded to individual advisers in recognition of demonstrating best practice, appropriate knowledge and older client care procedures.  The LLAA remains the only independent accreditation  scheme for specialist advisers of its type in the UK and Gareth is one of only 3 accredited advisers in Wales, and the only one to hold both the CFP and LLAA.
