- How many companies do you owe money to
- What is the total value of your debts (excluding mortgages and secured loans)
- What are your monthly payments to those creditors
- What is your monthly income after tax
Provided that we think we can make your debts disappear we will send you an agreement that will allow us to negotiate with your creditors on your behalf.
We will call a meeting of your creditors to consider the proposals. They will not attend the meeting - usually they delegate the voting of their accountants who will vote by fax. Bevan & Buckland may talk to your major creditors at this stage to smooth out any concerns/queries.
If all goes to plan the majority of your unsecured debts will disappear.
