FAQs

What services do you provide?

Across our six offices in Swansea, Cardiff, Haverfordwest, Pembroke, Carmarthen and St David’s we provide a range of accounting, audit, tax and payroll services, we also have specialist teams who can help with financial planning and wealth management, debt management and insolvency advice.

What type of clients can you help?

We offer a complete range of accountancy, tax and financial services for individuals, start-ups, sole traders, partnerships, family run and owner managed businesses. We also act for larger companies many of whom have international offices.

How much do you charge?

Each client is different so we need to meet you first before we can quote. The first meeting is free so we can meet and agree what you need, we can then provide a proposal for you. Our fees are fixed and include all telephone and email advice so there are no surprises when you receive the bill. Feedback from our clients confirms that they are extremely happy with our rates.

What do I need to do to have you as my accountant?

If you already have an accountant, please refer to the above question if you are just setting up and have not yet employed the services of an accountant, all you need to do is ask us to act for you. We will need to have 2 pieces of identification from you in order for us to comply with Money Laundering Regulations and will also issue you with our letter of engagement.

What do I need to do to change accountants?

Changing accountants, although may seem daunting, is incredibly easy. If you already have an accountant acting for you and want to switch, all you need to do is inform us that you would like us to act for you and, out of courtesy, inform your current accountant that you will no longer require their services. We then obtain your accountants name and address and formally write to them, and they will provide us with any relevant accounting documents. Once we have these, we can then proceed to accept the appointment by issuing you with a letter of engagement.

We are thinking of hiring a bookkeeper for a few days a week, why should we use you instead?

We are passionate about the benefits of good bookkeeping within a company. Whether a small business which simply needs to have good recording keeping in paper format, or a larger company which requires the use of an accountancy package, good bookkeeping always results in a better run business. We can offer professional bookkeeping for all our clients, either via a tailored system, or using accounting software such as Xero, Sage or Quickbooks. By choosing to use us instead of employing a bookkeeper our clients have reduced their costs (we won’t ask for holiday or sick pay!) and in most cases, our clients have been shocked that the bookkeeping they thought would take 3 days per week in fact does not take a fraction of this time when carried out expertly.
